Kombucha is usually brewed from tea, but we made an exception. Rooibos is not tea, but a bush from South Africa that is perfectly suited for kombucha. We let it undergo fermentation, and it works perfectly.

ROOIBOS AND THE SOFTER SIDE OF KOMBUCHA
Rooibos, meaning “red bush,” originates from South Africa, specifically the Western Cape region. It is known for its mild flavor, being naturally caffeine-free and without significant bitterness, which makes it ideal for evening consumption or for those who are more sensitive to stimulants.
Our Rooibos kombucha is made from high-quality rooibos from LEROS and fermentation, which gives the drink a slight acidity and natural effervescence. The result is a softer kombucha with a smoother character, retaining a clean taste.
We use our own type of fermentation, which results in less acetic acid compared to conventional kombuchas. The tea's flavor is therefore balanced and overall milder, making kombucha perfectly suitable for daily consumption.
Rooibos is also a natural source of antioxidants and, thanks to its lack of caffeine, offers a calmer alternative to classic tea kombuchas.
